Bursary
Listing your organisation with search-the-arts will contribute towards enriching the future of the industry. A percentage of your listing or advertising banner cost will be used to set up student bursaries to be awarded to eight students each year to help them through their arts training.
In May 2009, £500 was donated to two drama students as they approached the end of their 2nd year's training. The recipients were chosen in conjunction with The Conference of Drama Schools.
Also, in May 2009, £500 was awarded to two dance students as they approached the end of their 2nd year's training. The recipients were chosen in conjunction with The Council for Dance Education and Training.
A further two dance students and two drama students received 50 photographic repro shots each from Visualeyes, one of the UK's leading photographic repro houses and a headshot photoshoot from MAD Photography.
The next bursary will be awarded in July 2010. One application from each accredited dance or drama school only, via their Principal's office, should be sent to us at contact@search-the-arts.com
